Are you ready to lead an outstanding, award-winning Rostering and Resourcing service helping shape the future workforce requirements of Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group?

We are looking for an , innovative and inspiring leader to join us . This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing service that has already gained recognition for delivering efficient, impactful and patient-focused workforce solutions.

Working closely with the Associate Director of Rostering and Resourcing, you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of our rostering, temporary staffing and workforce deployment services. You will drive innovation, service improvement and workforce transformation, ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time.

As the Group Head of Rostering and Resourcing , you will provide strategic and operational leadership for rostering and resourcing and services across Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will lead the development and optimisation of rostering and resourcing systems, ensuring the effective deployment of staff to support safe, high-quality patient care and an excellent staff experience.

You will drive transformation, productivity and service improvement initiatives, using workforce data and intelligence to identify opportunities. The role will provide expert advice on rostering, resourcing and workforce planning matters, helping managers and leaders make informed decisions that enhance our operational effectiveness.

The postholder will oversee governance, reporting and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with national standards, legislation and best practice. Delivering efficiencies and ensuring value for money.

Working across Care Groups, Corporate Directorates and external partners, you will build strong relationships to deliver workforce solutions.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

This role will be across Group and the base will be at one of our 3 sites within Lincoln.

Lead the strategic and operational delivery of rostering, temporary staffing and workforce deployment services across the Group.

Drive workforce efficiency, productivity and cost improvement initiatives through effective workforce planning and deployment.

Oversee the development, optimisation and governance of Health Roster, Staff Bank and associated workforce systems.

Lead workforce transformation and service improvement programmes to enhance operational performance and staff experience.

Develop and monitor performance metrics, reporting frameworks and workforce intelligence to support informed decision-making.

Provide expert advice and support to senior leaders on rostering, resourcing and workforce planning matters.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, workforce policies, governance standards and rostering best practice.

Manage delegated budgets, contracts and resources, ensuring value for money and delivery of financial objectives.

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team through compassionate, inclusive and empowering leadership.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operational, corporate and clinical services to deliver organisational priorities.

Support the delivery of the Group Workforce Strategy, NHS workforce priorities and long-term workforce sustainability plans.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, staff engagement and excellent service delivery.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence workforce strategy and transformation across the Group, helping to ensure the right workforce is in the right place at the right time to deliver outstanding patient care
