Full job description

We are looking for walker/driver to join our ever expanding team in South East London specifically the SE3 area. We are looking for team members with experience of owning or handling dogs with their own vehicle that is suitable for transporting the dogs safely. Paid training will be given.

The position is part time, term time only. Monday to Thursday 8.15am til 1.30pm. The role requires flexibility for over time and for staff annual leave cover.

We are looking for energetic and physically fit people who are able to work in all weather conditions. You will be expected to organize your day and follow a given schedule set out through our booking system and keep to a strict time schedule. You will need to be responsible individuals, understanding that the role can be unpredictable at times.

The role will require you to collect and drop off dogs from multiple locations all while respecting clients homes and privacy.

Whilst on walks, the safety, enrichment and exercise of all the dogs in our care is our priority. You will be required to walk upto 4 dogs per walk, with a maximum of 3 walks per day, of various ages, sizes and play styles.

Duties:

- walking dogs, ensuring their safety, well-being, exercise and enrichment during the walks.

- Follow specific instructions regarding dogs.

- Monitor dogs for any changes in behaviour or health and report back to us.

- Ability to handle upto 4 dogs of various sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience.

- Good physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting e.g. lifting large/elderly dogs in and out of vehicles.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with dog owners.

- Prepaired to work outdoors in all weather condtions and all year round.

- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for collecting dogs.

- Uphold all dog laws and legislation.

This is a permanent self-employed position. Providing an amazing and consistent experience for our dogs, clients and staff is very important so only apply if you know you can commit to and are interested in a long term position. A clean DBS and full U.K driving license and right to work in U.K. is required.
