Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Part Time Maintenance Person to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills will shine. Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly and effectively.
Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
Conduct welding and other metalwork repairs as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated systems.
Supervise or assist with maintenance tasks performed by other team members or contractors.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies while providing excellent customer service to internal teams.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance roles with strong mechanical knowledge.
Electrical experience including working with wiring, circuits, schematics, and PLCs.
Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform metal repairs confidently.
Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance environment.
Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork.
Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces.
