Full job description

We are looking for a 3.5t recovery driver to work 8 to 10hr shift patterns monday to friday with possible weekends overtime , depending on shift pattern.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5tonne delivery vehicle to transport and recover customers vehicles to designated locations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual labour
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and invoices, are completed accurately
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with the appropriate category to operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle
- Previous experience as a recovery driver preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to read maps and navigate using GPS systems
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong attention to detail to accurately complete paperwork
- Physical stamina for loading/unloading goods and performing manual labour as needed
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
