The Role – Replenishment Driver + Warehouse Operative
- This is a split role
- 30hrs p/w as a Replenishment Driver
- 8hrs p/w as a Warehouse Operative
- 38hrs total, although overtime will often be available

Working Pattern
- Monday – Warehouse Operative (9am-6pm w/ 1hr unpaid break)
- Tuesday – Day off
- Weds – Day off
- Thurs – Replenishment Driver (5am-3.30pm w/ 30min unpaid break)
- Fri – Replenishment Driver (5am-3.30pm w/ 30min unpaid break)
- Sat – Replenishment Driver (5am-3.30pm w/ 30min unpaid break)
- Sun – Day off
Overtime will often be available but is not guaranteed.
Is This the Right Job for You?
This is a great job for the right person - it's a generous salary, the work itself is stimulating & varied, and there are good opportunities for growth within Pantree.
However, it's a quite unusual role, and it’s not the right job for everyone.
So as not to waste your time, only consider this role if you fit all the following:
- Experience driving a large 3.5t manual van (and a clean driving licence).
- Genuine interest in a merchandising role (arranging the products on the shelves of the markets).
- Wanting an active role (a trolley is provided, but you'd be lifting boxes off the van to put them onto the trolley)
- You can work well in a team in the warehouse as well as being able to work solo when driving.
Finally, you’ll need to be able to get to our warehouse for 5am on days you are driving (before most public transport starts) so a car is pretty crucial (warehouse postcode = E10 7BT)
Above all, this role requires a great attention to detail and a high level of commitment and care. Every time you finish stocking a Pantree market, it must be looking fantastic as well as being dedicated in the warehouse. If we can rely on you to show up on time every day and take pride in everything you do, you'll thrive at Pantree.
Replenishment Driver Duties:
- You will collect the pre-picked stock from our warehouse in Leyton, and drive it (using the company van) to each of our stores across London
- Once you arrive at each apartment building, you will bring the products from the van to the Pantree market inside the building. You will then restock and organise the shelves to a high standard of presentation. This merchandising aspect is a huge part of the job - if all you're looking for is a normal drop-off van driver role, then this isn't the right job for you.
- Loading the van in the morning with the already prepared stock.
- Arriving at sites in a timely manner, and being the ‘face’ of the Pantree business when at sites.
- Replenishing stock on the shelves at the Pantree sites to a very high standard.
- Keeping the van organised throughout your shift.
- Keeping on top of the cleanliness of the Pantree sites.
- Following the FIFO method when placing stock on the shelves.
- Checking expiry dates on products at all sites visited when planned into your day (daily mandatory checks are chilled products, bread & eggs).
Warehouse Operative Duties:
- Receiving and processing deliveries.
- Stock control (keeping on top of weekly/monthly stock counts).
- Day to day cleaning of the warehouse (Keeping warehouse floors clear of debris and moving the broken cardboard and plastic to the external mixed recycling bin.
- Preparing stock for the following day/night.
- Keeping up to date with any process changes.
