Salary: £9,791.60 pro rata per annum
Full-Time Equivalent (35 hours): £24,479.00 per annum (Salary Scale 2.3)
Hours of Work: 14 hours per week (2 days per week), worked between Monday and Friday, with flexible working arrangements open for discussion
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: The Gateway, North Methven Street, Perth, with hybrid working when required
Closing Date: 16.08.2026

PKAVS is looking for an organised, enthusiastic and detail-focused Trainee Finance Administrator to join our friendly Central Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to begin or develop a career in finance, bookkeeping or accountancy. You do not need extensive finance experience, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Working alongside our Finance Assistant and external accountants, you will help keep financial records accurate and up to date. Your work will include processing financial information, monitoring the finance email inbox, checking bank transactions, processing card payments, updating finance systems and assisting with finance reporting and debt management. You will also help process petty cash, staff and volunteer expenses, banking paperwork and supplier information.

We are looking for someone with good attention to detail, strong communication and organisational skills, confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn. An interest in finance, bookkeeping or accounting is essential, while previous experience of cash handling, invoicing, expenses, petty cash or finance software would be helpful but is not required.
