Qualified Dental Nurse

Location: Mint Dental Hygiene Suite, Nansledan, Newquay
Salary: From £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Up to 21.5 hours per week

As our practice continues to grow, there may be the opportunity for the successful candidate to increase their working hours in the future.

Working Hours

Wednesday: 8:15am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 9:15am – 7:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm

30-minute unpaid lunch break on Wednesday and Thursday.

Mint Dental Hygiene Suite is a modern direct access dental hygiene practice located in Nansledan, Newquay. We are passionate about preventative dentistry and providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, professional environment.

Using the latest equipment and technology, we focus on helping our patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health through high-quality hygiene treatments and preventative care.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly team.

This is a varied role, providing:

Chairside support for our Dental Hygienists
Reception duties, including welcoming patients and managing appointments
Administrative support
Excellent patient care and communication
Assisting with infection prevention and control procedures
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinical environment

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Be GDC registered
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be reliable, organised and able to work independently
Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team
Be passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
Have a positive, friendly and professional attitude
