Production Manager Electrical Assembly Department

We produce both fibre optic and LED lighting systems for several sectors – including architectural, gallery & display, commercial, residential and sensory.

The Role:

Leading and working as part of the management team you will be responsible for management of a busy and diverse production department.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Managing, developing, and improving all aspects of manufacturing within the Electrical Assembly Department, which incorporates our fibre optic light source and LED fittings team.

Assisting in the implementation of new quality management systems in line with the company’s goals and objectives.

Monitoring and measuring manufacturing KPI’s.

Implement and oversee all aspects of production scheduling within their allocated departments to ensure orders are produced and quality checked within permitted lead times.

Collation and analysis of data, maintaining all records and compiling of reports and recommendations for senior management.

Team building within the production teams.

Planning and liaising with other managers and departments, to ensure timely resolution of relevant issues to the mutual benefit of the teams, customers, and the business.

Carry out any other duties as required to fulfil the needs of the role.

Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure orders are consolidated within the factory in a timely manor for despatch to clients.

Skills:

Management of teams in a production environment. (Required)

Strong electrical or technical management background (Preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel to support work-in-progress and production schedules

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Day shift
Monday to Friday

Coldstream: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
