Electrical Improver/Mate – Accrington Market Hall Renovation Project

Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Rate: £21.00 per hour
Hours: 46.5 hours per week
Duration: 6 Weeks +
Start Date: 17/08/26

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electricians Mate/Improver to join a major renovation project at Accrington Market Hall.

This is an excellent opportunity for local operatives seeking long-term work on a prestigious refurbishment scheme, with work available through to project completion.

Scope of Works

The project involves a full renovation and electrical upgrade of the building, including:

Containment installation
Conduit work
Lighting installation
General electrical refurbishment works
Associated commercial electrical duties

Requirements

To be considered, applicants must hold:

Valid ECS Card
IPAF Certification
PASMA (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience on commercial construction projects
Own tools and PPE

46.5 hours per week
Long-term work until project completion
