Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Minibus Escort to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on board. We are looking for a minibus escort to help with our Rainbow Centre Clients ( Adults with disabilities) to collect clients in the morning and return them home in the afternoon.

Purpose of Job:

The contracted hours of this position will be 15 hours per week to be worked on Monday to Friday 8.00 to 9.30am and 3.15pm to 4.45pm. There will be occasions where additional hours are available and overtime will be paid.

You will need to have a friendly personality and the ability to get on well with people. An understanding of learning disabilities would be advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist passengers in boarding and alighting from the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any necessary updates.
Monitor passenger behaviour to ensure a respectful and safe environment throughout the journey.
Report any incidents or issues that may arise during transit to the appropriate authorities promptly.
Operate taillift and trap in wheelchairs.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
