Job Summary
Wallacetown Gardens is a 20 bedded unit for younger adults aged 18-65, our residents experience complex conditions such as Huntingtons Disease, brain injuries and long term mental health conditions.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have a thorough understanding of anatomy. As a Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their recovery process.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the clinical environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a nursing role is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified nurses.
Strong knowledge of anatomy is essential to effectively assess and respond to patients' needs.
Demonstrated ability in patient care practices, with a focus on empathy and compassion towards patients.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
