The Role

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter / Paint Sprayer to join our bodyshop team.

You will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, including colour matching, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring a quality finish before vehicles move through to completion.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a good eye for detail and can work confidently and independently while being part of a friendly, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles and panels ready for refinishing
Mix and match paint colours accurately
Apply primers, basecoats and clearcoats to a high standard
Carry out paint rectification and polishing where required
Ensure finished work meets our quality standards
Follow manufacturer repair methods and paint processes
Carry out your own quality checks before completion
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
Work closely with the rest of the bodyshop team to keep jobs progressing efficiently

Skills & ExperienceEssential

Previous vehicle painting experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation and refinishing processes
Excellent colour-matching and paint application skills
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to consistently produce a high-quality finish
Able to work efficiently while maintaining high repair standards
Full UK driving licence

Preferred

Relevant paint or bodyshop qualifications
ATA accreditation or equivalent
Experience working with modern paint systems and manufacturer repair methods
