Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are kept tidy, sanitised, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming workspace. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Duties

Clean and sanitise all office areas, including desks, floors, windows, restrooms, and communal spaces
Ensure waste bins are emptied and waste is disposed of appropriately
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and reliability
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving cleaning supplies as required
A proactive attitude towards maintaining a hygienic workspace
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the office environment
Cleaning to be done at 8am Mondays till 12pm Wednesdays 8am to 11am Fridays 8am to 11am
