About us

Premier Healthcare & Hygiene Ltd began trading in 2005.

Since then we have grown considerably whilst striving to ensure that we offer our customers the highest quality and most comprehensive range of medical supplies available.

Based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, Premier Healthcare is a supplier to the NHS, podiatry, physiotherapy and medical practises, pharmacies and nursing and residential homes.

We are currently looking for someone to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative, during an exciting period of company expansion.

Duties

Booking in stock onto a computer system.
Loading and unloading of stock deliveries.
Checking and sorting stock for storage within the warehouse.
Stock picking of orders.
Packing of orders for courier despatch.
Using equipment to move stock around the warehouse.
Liaising with customers when required.
Occasional administration tasks.
Hours are 8 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday.

Qualifications

- 6 Months previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is essential
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks requiring repetitive motion
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
