Strength, Mobility & Postnatal Coaches WantedHelp Shape the Next Chapter of Body Image Fitness

Self-Employed | Newcastle upon Tyne

As Body Image Fitness continues to grow, we're looking for one or more exceptional coaches to join our team.

We're particularly keen to hear from coaches with experience in strength training, mobility and pre & postnatal exercise. You don't need to tick every box, we're looking to build a team with complementary skills and shared values.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for coaches who genuinely believe that fitness should be for everybody.

Our coaching is inclusive, weight-neutral and person-centred. We don't promote diet culture, body shaming, before-and-after photos or "earning" food through exercise. Instead, we create welcoming spaces where people of all backgrounds, identities, ages, abilities and body sizes feel safe, respected and supported.

Current Opportunities: Strength & Mobility Coach

Current opportunities include:

Monday 4:30pm
Monday 6:30pm
Wednesday 4:30pm

Pre & Postnatal Coach

We're also looking for a qualified pre & postnatal coach to gradually take over some of our established weekday postnatal strength classes.

Current opportunities include:

Monday–Thursday mornings (10:45am / 11:45am)

We'd love to hear from coaches with experience in:

Strength training
Mobility
Hypermobility
Pre & postnatal exercise
Persistent pain
Disability and inclusive fitness
Exercise referral

As part of our growing team, there will also be opportunities to:

Additional weekly classes

Instructor cover

Developing new classes and programmes

Growing alongside an expanding independent business

Essential

Level 3 Personal Trainer (or equivalent)
Experience coaching groups
Appropriate insurance
First Aid qualification

We'd particularly love to hear from people who:

Coach in a weight-neutral, inclusive and compassionate way.
Can confidently adapt sessions for people with different bodies, abilities and experiences.
Understand that creating psychological safety is just as important as good coaching.
Believe strength training should be empowering, enjoyable and accessible to everybody.
Enjoy being part of a collaborative, supportive team.
