Job Overview

Monday, Wednesday,Friday 9-11

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Store Cleaning Operative to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our retail locations. This vital role ensures that the store remains hygienic, organized, and presentable for both customers and staff. Duties

Perform commercial cleaning tasks throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, and customer service zones by regularly sanitizing fixtures and replenishing supplies.
Remove trash and recyclables efficiently to uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the store.
Use janitorial equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning support.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
Collaborate with store staff to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption to daily operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies throughout shifts.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and store personnel.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently.
