Full job description

Norton Barton Food Village, based just outside Bude, is a collection of Artisan Food producers selling to a range of farm shops and delicatessens nationally. Our products are produced by hand and dispatched from the farm. We currently produce rillettes and pates, cheese, savoury biscuits, canned seafood, rums, vodka and gins.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Office Administrator to join our team. The Office Administrator will provide administrative support to the team and help ensure smooth operations across all departments. This role requires excellent time management skills, strong administrative abilities, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

In this role, your duties would include, but not be limited to, the following -

- Processing customer orders on our stock control and accounting system

- Answering emails

- Taking orders over the phone

- Dealing with customer queries

- General admin

- Liaise with the other teams on site

- Ability to deal with complaints if they arise.

- Supporting the Sales and Marketing teams.

- Be willing to help in other areas of the business if required

This role would be suited to someone with a positive outlook, natural enthusiasm, passionate, calm in a crisis - they do happen, flexible and proactive. Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but full training will be provided. Excellent attention to detail, good English skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages required

Monday to Thursday (20 hours per week 9am - 2pm ). In person.

Salary £13.25 per hour

Due to our remote location you will need to be able to drive or have access to a vehicle.
