Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling various metal components with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on diverse materials, including sheet metal and structural components
- Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
- Inspect completed welds and fabrications for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high standards of workmanship
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and metalworking techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Familiarity with working with sheet metal and performing fabrication tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
