Full job description

Whilst we're known for our great coffee, homemade cakes and cocktails, we're quickly becoming known as a top spot for brunch in Winchester.

You'll be working solo for some of the time in a small kitchen, so you need to enjoy your own company and work well on your own under pressure. We'll need you to be efficient, and set yourself high standards, all the while religiously sticking to food hygiene rules.

We are limited to what we can physically do in our small kitchen space (no deep fat frying, for example). This means that our fare is quite straightforward and our menu simple. But we use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to make delicious homely food that's tasting rather than fancy.

This job would suit someone who loves working in a kitchen environment supported by a small, friendly front of house team. You'll be buzzing with ideas of what you'd like to cook and support the directors in keeping the menus fresh and interesting. You won't be afraid of taking charge of the ordering too - making sure we're always fully stocked and within budget.

We're looking for someone to work a minimum of 3 shifts a week (Friday - Sunday) with the option to increase hours by working weekdays too.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
