Full job description

Aspen Estate Management are looking to hire an experienced gardener 1-2 days per week to look after a collection of large private gardens. You will be expected to work as part of a small team, as well as on your own. You will be required to attend to fixed locations on a weekly basis, always consisting of a days work at each and the same location on each day. The position would suit an experienced self employed gardener looking for regular part-time work.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Maintaining kitchen gardens,
Formal beds/borders,
Manicured lawns,
Topiary and hedges,
Annual plant and garden management
Use of garden machinery, (keep in good working order)

The ideal candidate must have recent experience and good knowledge of working in gardens to a high standard, an understanding of managing seasonal changes and dealing with plants with the correct horticultural practice. Ideally a relevant qualification in horticulture such as rhs level 2/3 or a comprehensive understanding of plants, including botanical names, pests, and disease and maintenance requirements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £148.00-£168.00 per day
