Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Head Door Supervisor to oversee the entrance and exit points of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role requires excellent observational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to loss prevention and safety protocols. The Head Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue while upholding high standards of security and customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage the entrance and exit areas, ensuring only authorised individuals gain access
Manage other Security Staff on Site
Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and professionally
Provide assistance to visitors, including offering directions and answering queries
Perform regular checks to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary
Maintain detailed records of incidents, visitor logs, and surveillance footage as required
Collaborate with security team members to coordinate patrols and security measures

Requirements

Proven experience in security roles is desirable
First aid certification or willingness to undertake training upon appointment
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in identifying suspicious activity or safety concerns
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine patrols
Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is advantageous but not essential
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or special events as required
