Overview

We are seeking a professional and dynamic Head Bartender to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of mixology, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee bar operations, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Lead and supervise the bar team, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism at all times
Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beverages, and specialised drinks in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to ensure efficient operation
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any special requests or concerns
Monitor compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
Assist in developing new cocktail menus and promotional events to attract customers

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality, particularly within a bar or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions, measuring ingredients, and managing stock levels
Effective time management skills to oversee busy service periods without compromising quality
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Personable attitude with excellent communication skills

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual eager to lead by example in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: £13.00-£17.86 per hour
