Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient bookkeeping processes. Duties

Manage and maintain comprehensive financial records using recognised accounting software Quickbooks and Xero essential.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and credit accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures in compliance with organisational policies.
Implement improvements to bookkeeping procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Skills

Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and external partners.
