Perkins Automotive is a busy, family-run Accident Repair centre with over 30 years experience and an excellent reputation for quality repairs.
We're looking for an experienced Panel Beater / M.E.T. Technician who is confident carrying out both mechanical, electrical and trim work, as well as panel repairs.
We're flexible on hours because we'd rather find the right person than force them into a standard working week. Whether you're looking for 3 days, 4 days or full-time, we're happy to discuss a working pattern that suits you.
This role would also include providing holiday cover and helping us during busier periods, with additional hours available if you want them.
Responsibilities
- Carry out panel repairs to a high standard.
- Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components.
- Repair or replace damaged panels.
- Work efficiently while maintaining excellent quality.
- Work closely with the paint department to ensure vehicles are ready on time.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater and M.E.T. Technician.
- High attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
