Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for altering, and repairing garments to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Adding buttons and labels to suits.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and fashion, looking to utilise their tailoring expertise in a professional environment. Candidates must demonstrate precision, creativity, and a strong work ethic to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Cut fabric precisely according to patterns and specifications.
Sew, alter, and repair clothing items with attention to detail and quality.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace and ensure all tools are properly maintained.
Collaborate with team members to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role within the fashion or garment industry.
Proficiency in using sewing machines, hand sewing techniques, and pattern-making tools.
Strong understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction.
Excellent attention to detail with an eye for precision and quality craftsmanship.
Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients regarding their needs.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Candidates with additional skills such as fashion design knowledge or experience working with specialised fabrics will be considered advantageous. This position is ideal for dedicated professionals committed to delivering exceptional tailoring in a fast-paced environment.
