Full job description

Pallet-Track Sussex is a long-standing company based in Hailsham, East Sussex whose work is primarily in the General Haulage and the overnight Pallet industry. We are keen to employ talented people who will go the extra distance for our clients.

The candidate:

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership – confidently communicating with and instructing drivers
Oversee yard safety and yard marshalling
Plan and coordinate PM collections, including handover from the AM Transport Coordinator
Use Vigo and web portal systems to manage transport operations
Load and unload vehicles using a counterbalance forklift truck

What We're Looking For

FLT licence – essential
IT literate, with confidence using operational systems
Strong communication and leadership skills
Previous experience in logistics – desirable
Local geographic knowledge – advantageous but not essential
H&S qualification – desirable but not essential

Monday to Friday, 12:00pm-22:00.

Will have to work one in four Saturday mornings (07:00-11:00)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

Driver CPC (preferred)
