Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow and thrive? Greenfield Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Learning Support Assistant to join our Early Years team.
You will support pupils in nursery, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every child can develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will encourage children's social, emotional and educational development through play-based learning and positive relationships.
We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive and committed to giving every child the very best start in their educational journey.
Key responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing within the nursery environment.

Assist in delivering engaging play-based activities that promote early learning and development.

Work closely with teachers and Early Years staff to meet individual pupil needs.

Encourage positive behaviour, social skills and independence.

Support children with personal care, hygiene and welfare needs where required.
Pay range: NJ5-7 - £19,764.26 - £20,397.76 - FTE: £25,583.00 - £26,403.00 - 32.5 hours per week, 37 weeks per year - fixed term - 31.08.2027
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.

Experience of working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Good understanding of safeguarding, child development and inclusive practice.
