Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting the pharmacy operations to ensure safe and efficient service. Your proactive approach and commitment to patient safety will help us deliver top-quality pharmaceutical care to our community. Duties

Prepare and dispense prescribed medications with precision, following all safety protocols and legal requirements
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and appropriateness before dispensing
Assist patients with medication inquiries, providing clear instructions on usage and potential side effects
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, inventory levels, and patient interactions
Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management
Ensure the pharmacy workspace remains organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations
Dispensing of blister packs and managing their repeat prescriptions.

Skills

Experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser preferred.
Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology
Experience working with TITAN PMR preferred but training can be provided.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
Attention to detail to prevent errors in dispensing and record-keeping
Ability to follow strict safety protocols and legal guidelines related to pharmaceuticals
Good organizational skills to manage inventory and documentation efficiently
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

Further training to upskill can be provided following a succesfull probationary period.

Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
