The Job Role

Currently we are looking for a Business Admin Assistant to provide support to the Accounts Department.

Role Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices against orders.
Matching purchase invoices to receipts from goods inwards.
Inputting invoices onto monthly daybooks in excel.
Scanning of invoices and various documents.
Producing and sending remittances.
Entering transactions onto ledger spreadsheets.
Dealing with supplier queries and resolving issues over the telephone or email.
Filing and archiving records.

Job requirements:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is essential, and the ability to work accurately and methodically.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to work with complete accuracy.
Previous accounts experience is not essential.

Full time position.
Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.

Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
