Full job description

Labourer / Mechanical Installation Mate – Air Conditioning

We’re looking for a reliable labourer / installation mate to assist with air-conditioning and mechanical installation work.

Pay: £15–£18 per hour – negotiable depending on experience

Contract: Temporary to start, with potential for further work

Working away: Required – hotels provided plus overnight allowance

CSCS card: Essential

Previous experience with mechanical installation work would be beneficial. Experience within air conditioning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or other mechanical trades would be an advantage, although specific air-conditioning experience isn’t essential.

The role will involve:

Assisting engineers with air-conditioning installations
General mechanical installation work
Moving and positioning equipment and materials
Using hand and power tools
Keeping work areas organised and working safely on site

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual
Practical and comfortable using tools
Willing and able to work away from home
Hard-working with a good attitude
Health & safety conscious
Able to work well as part of a small installation team

Hotels are provided when working away, along with an overnight allowance.
