Full job description

Are you a strategic HR leader who can balance big-picture thinking with practical delivery?

We are seeking a Head of People to lead and shape our people agenda, ensuring our culture, capability and workforce plans support the long-term success of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a trusted adviser to the leadership team and play a key role in organisational development, workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people professional who enjoys influencing at a senior level, developing organisational capability, and creating an environment where people can perform, grow and succeed.

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver the organisation's people strategy.
Advise leaders on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, and people-related risk.
Lead initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and performance.
Oversee talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.
Ensure employment practices, policies and processes are fair, effective, and legally compliant.
Use people data and insights to support informed business decisions and continuous improvement.

About you

You will be an experienced HR leader with:

Proven success in a senior HR or people leadership role.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
The ability to influence, challenge and support senior stakeholders.
Experience of organisational development, change management and workforce planning.
Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
A pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused approach.
