Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reception Supervisor/Duty Manager to oversee the front desk operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest services, supervising front-of-house staff, and maintaining smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a background in hospitality to contribute to a welcoming environment and uphold the organisation’s standards of excellence. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and team communication.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of front desk staff, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
Provide outstanding guest service, addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Oversee reservation systems, manage bookings, and handle special requests with professionalism.
Support human resources functions such as staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including security protocols and emergency procedures.
Assist in managing daily operations, including liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
Lead by example in delivering exemplary hospitality standards and fostering a positive team environment.
Handle guest complaints or concerns diplomatically to maintain high levels of guest loyalty.
Maintain accurate records related to guest services, staff attendance, and operational reports.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Strong background in guest services and hospitality management.
Experience in human resources functions such as staff training, scheduling, and performance management is advantageous.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse guests and team members.
Previous leadership roles demonstrating the ability to motivate teams and manage operational challenges effectively.
Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation platforms is preferred.
