Supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring the effective delivery of all HR related administrative tasks.
Working pattern: 40 hours per week (full time); Monday to Friday with hybrid option for 2 days per week working remotely. Would consider 32 hours /4 days per week.
Training support via Apprenticeship at Level 3: HR support (level 3) - apprenticeship training course
What you'll be doing:
Onboarding: New hire onboarding administration
Training and Development: Assist with administration of Learning & Development programs to enhance the skills and performance of colleagues
Compliance: Maintaining up-to-date records
HR Administration: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and HR databases
Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture
System Implementation: Assist with new HRIS and other HR related systems implementation process to include bulk uploading
Monitor the HR inbox and in-person queries, triaging enquiries to answer directly where possible, and referring to the relevant line manager or HR colleagues where appropriate
Other work as allocated from Line Manager
Deputise for HR colleagues as required.
Carry out any other reasonable request or duties as maybe required from time to time
Comply with all company policies, in particular protection of confidential information relating to employees, employee relations matters and GDPR regulations.
Provide draft monthly reports to the HR Manager, UK: Employee turnover and retention Absence data (Bradford factor).
Some travel across the UK and Ireland may be required to support HR activities in our other UK locations (currently Wolverhampton and Wombwell).

Experience in an administrative / coordination role is essential
