Salary

Please note that the salary figure above consists of the following breakdown: £26,500.00 + 15% shift

About the Role

Ensinger Machined Parts is looking for a motivated and reliable CNC Operator to join our production team at our Bridgwater site.

In this role, you will operate pre-set machine tools within our production department to manufacture high-quality machine part components to drawing specifications and customer requirements. You will work as part of a close-knit team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our production facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating 2-shift pattern:

Days: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:30, Friday 06:00 - 12:00
Afternoons: Monday – Thursday 14:30 - 23:00, Friday 12:00 - 18:00

Please note that the role will eventually move to 3 shift pattern (nights, days and afternoons). Hours to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

Operate pre-set machine tools to produce parts to drawing specifications and customer satisfaction
Carry out all work in line with production and quality procedures, including 1st off, batch, and final inspections
Run multiple machines for small to medium batch quantities
Support colleagues with additional duties to aid the smooth running of the department
Work in accordance with the quality management system and departmental processes
Comply with all reasonable requests from the Production Manager
Maintain safety standards at all times in line with the company's Group Health and Safety policy
Report any issues or hazards promptly to the Production Manager
Handle all personal data in line with GDPR 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally production-based
Experience of running CNC machines is preferred
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality practices

Personal Qualities:

A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent results
Strong communication skills and a good listener
Ability to perform well under pressure
Self-motivated and energetic
Flexible approach and willingness to support the needs of the business
