Enforcement Officer for DVLA Operations Required £25,300.00 - £35,000 OTE

MUST BE OVER 25 YEARS OF AGE DUE TO COMPANY VEHICLE INSURANCE POLICY.

PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY

Working in the Hertfordshire area, operating an ANPR - Automatic Number Plate Recognition vehicle as used by the Police Force.

Operations include:

Driving throughout Hertfordshire towns and villages scanning for untaxed vehicles (located by the ANPR system) When a vehicle is recognized as untaxed, a live status check is undertaken, the vehicle is clamped if appropriate and documentation completed. The clamps are approx. 15kg in weight and you will have to carry them to the vehicle for clamping and may have to lie-down on the ground to clamp the vehicle.

Systems updates are then carried out via an IPAD / company phone.

Operations will also include the releasing of clamps from vehicles following payment.

Full training is provided with the possibility of further training for the suitable applicants to gain a County Court Enforcement Agent Certificate. This can then lead to the enforcement of Road Traffic Debts, Council Tax and Commercial Rent Arrears.

Equipment will be provided as follows

ANPR vehicle (Van)

Mobile Phone

iPad

Work Wear (Shirt/Polo Shirts/Jacket)

Body Worn Camera System

You must be driven and be willing to work varied hours to hit targets. Earnings are not capped and are down to the individual Operator.

A Driving License is required and you must be over 25 due to Insurance Requirements.

You must not have any County Court Judgements against you and hold a clear DBS record.

You must be able to work as part of a team and able to manage difficult situations and on occasions irate people.
