Full job description

To support and assist with a wide range of day-to-day HR activities across the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance and development and offboarding. Supporting with strategic HR initiatives and projects aligned with our business goals. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people and wants to help create a culture where everyone thrives. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees across all levels.

Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including liaising with hiring managers and Resourcing Business Partner, coordinating interviews, and managing offers. Administer employee lifecycle processes such as new hires, promotions, transfers, and exits. Administer HR systems and maintain accurate employee records. Ensure compliance with employment laws, GDPR, and internal policies.

Monitor and respond to HR queries via shared inboxes, escalating where necessary. Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes and escalating complex issues to the HR BP. Use a data-driven approach to proactively identify ER trends and work with the HR BP to design interventions. Ensure policies are reviewed on a periodic basis to ensure they are still relevant and current with legislation.

Support performance management processes including PDR’s and development plans. Coordinate training and development initiatives, including compliance training and career development planning. Support benefits administration, absence management, and wellbeing initiatives. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including the implementation of Organisational Design changes/ capability initiatives to support the growth plans.

Contribute to initiatives relating to employee engagement and operational efficiency. CapabilityBehavioural Competencies: Self-starter Effective coaching and influencing skills and demonstrable ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders Confident with using and interpreting data for reporting purposes and to identify trends to inform priorities. Able to manage a diverse workload and determine priorities/assess risks Able to work at pace and adapt to changing circumstances Results/outcome focused Technical Competencies: Experience across the full HR spectrum/life cycle. Sector experience is not important although experience of a manufacturing/ industrial/ logistics environment preferred.

Change management experience Good judgement and analytical skills to assess options and craft solutions, whilst identifying and evaluating risks. Able to make links between business strategy and HR interventions Excellent organisation skills with the ability to progress and prioritise a multi-faceted workload and manage systems and processes effectively. Education: CIPD level 5 minimum or equivalent experience ?Experience: Payroll input Benefits administration Employee relations experience such as investigations & disciplinary’s Recruitment & HR administration HR systems HR Experience within a fast paced environment.
