Job Description

Typically 2 days per week, 9:00am-5:00pm. Usually working days will be consistent, but some flexibility is required (to cover holiday leave etc.).

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, organized and reliable Receptionist, who can also assist with blind manufacturing. Experience in similar roles would be an advantage but training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting customers in the showroom and on the phone

- Booking appointments in the diary

- Producing accurate invoices and spreadsheets using Excel

- Taking in deliveries and moving stock

- Basic machine sewing

- Cutting aluminium poles and fabric to size

Requirements

- Good communication skills, both face-to face and on the phone

- Proficiency sending emails, using Microsoft Word and Excel

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to take accurate measurements

- Ability to handle and manoeuvre goods deliveries

- Must be comfortable working independently (after initial training period)

Desirable Attributes

- Previous experience in a customer facing role

- Previous experience in a manufacturing role

- Confidence and accuracy using a sewing machine

- Fabric cutting skills

- Experience in managing and prioritizing workload
