Full job description

NFU Mutual East Cambridgeshire and Fenland agency are currently recruiting for an Account Handler

Working Pattern, Location & Travel

Monday to Friday 9-5 with hour lunch break.
Base location: Ely
Hybrid working options can be discussed, but a minimum of 4 days in office is preferred.

What we are looking for:

People who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.
The ability to focus and work independently, as well as part of a team.
Good organisational skills, with the capacity to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Flexibility: though the role is based in our Ely/March office, you may be required to work in our other locations.
Good people skills, communication skills, & relationship building abilities.
Sales and customer service experience is desirable however, insurance experience is not essential.
I.T. literacy essential with competence in Microsoft Office Suite and to be able to adapt to company systems.
Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).

The Role:

You will be working directly with our agents. Booking client meetings and administering both personal & commercial insurance policies within specific deadlines.
Servicing NFU Mutual’s range of Insurance products compliantly and liaising with underwriters. Ensuring policy changes are done accurately and in a timely manner.
Arranging engagement meetings with local farming community.
On occasions you may be required to deal with general enquiries and policy alterations.
