Job Description

Sales Office Assistant

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and enthusiastic individual to join our Sales Office team. In this role, you will provide professional administrative and customer service support, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of orders for bingo tickets and related products supplied to licensed bingo clubs, social clubs, and working men's clubs across the UK.

As a key member of the team, you will help build and maintain strong customer relationships, coordinate orders from receipt through to delivery, and support the wider sales function to ensure a consistently high standard of service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and has strong organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels, providing a professional and responsive service.

· Build and maintain positive relationships with bingo clubs, social clubs, working men's clubs, and other customers.

· Accurately process customer orders for bingo tickets and associated products, ensuring attention to detail and timely fulfilment.

· Provide customers with product information, pricing, availability, and delivery updates.

· Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently, escalating issues where appropriate.

· Liaise closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met and deliveries are completed on time.

· Monitor stock levels of raw materials and place orders as required to support production and business needs.

· Raise and process purchase orders for stock, consumables, and other business requirements.

· Maintain accurate customer, order, and supplier records within company systems.

· Support the Commercial Manager and wider team with administrative duties and reporting requirements.

· Undertake ad hoc projects and additional duties as reasonably required by the Commercial Manager.

Person Specification

Desired Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or office support role.
Strong telephone manner and customer service skills.
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
