Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our professional hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for all visitors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a friendly demeanour are highly valued. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, reception area, and bathrooms
Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and teatrays as required
Follow established procedures for waste disposal and linen handling
Assist with laundry tasks when necessary to ensure timely turnover of rooms

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential
Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends
