Full job description

Mincrete Limited is a supplier of ready mixed concrete products and floor screeds, supplying to local industrial and domestic building companies, and are looking for a full-time experienced Accounts Assistant to join our company based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role

Working within a small team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director in all aspects of an accounts role, including the production of accurate and timely financial information, while assisting with the day-to-day running of the finance/admin office.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in all areas of Sales and Purchase Ledger

· Dealing with customer and supplier queries

· Reconciling invoices and credits

· Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

· Credit control including chasing and taking payments

· Assist in all areas of office administration

Essential Criteria:

· Proven experience of working within an office finance role

· Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 is essential

· Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy and varied workload

· Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Able to work as part of a small team

· The ability to work on your own and as part of a team

· Well organised with excellent attention to detail

· Highly motivated and able to quickly grasp new concepts and challenges

· Proactive, organised, and eager to learn

Pay: £31,200.00-£33,150.00 per year
