Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Packing Centre Assistant and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse operations! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, packing, and loading eggs on vans to meet customer demands. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the packing process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in warehouse management, materials handling, and logistics in a supportive environment. This is a new expansion to our business that is growing. We are not the finished article and improvements are being made as we grow. Responsibilities

Handle materials efficiently, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and stocking of products according to order specifications.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Support mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management within a warehouse setting.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance or minor repairs.
Physical ability for heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and standing for extended periods.
Attention to detail for quality control checks and accuracy in order fulfillment.
