Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Barista/All Rounder, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our customers! In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, serve food with a smile, and assist with various operational tasks to keep our café running smoothly. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service and customer engagement while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks efficiently and accurately.
Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional service.
Handle food preparation tasks such as bakery items
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations.
Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change.
Keep the workspace clean and organized by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, cleaning, or stock replenishment as needed.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure safe handling of food and beverages.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours.
A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required.
