Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across various settings. The successful candidate will develop essential skills in mechanical systems, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair while gaining insight into construction and HVAC industry standards. This paid apprenticeship provides a solid foundation for a career in air conditioning engineering, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units and systems.
Learn to interpret technical schematics and blueprints related to HVAC equipment.
Support routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
Participate in site inspections and contribute to troubleshooting equipment issues.
Help with the assembly and disassembly of HVAC components during installation projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Observe and learn from experienced engineers about construction practices related to HVAC systems.

Skills

Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to learn from team members.
Good problem-solving skills, particularly related to equipment repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of air conditioning principles, maintenance procedures, and construction processes is advantageous but not essential.
Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety protocols.
