We now have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Conference and Events Assistant to join our Conference and Events department.

As a Casual Conference and Events Assistant you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:

To be welcoming and approachable to all guests visiting the restaurant, ensuring that Park Regis etiquette standards are used when greeting and seating guests.
To make guest reservations and book correctly onto the hotel booking system. Ensure updates on bookings are managed in a timely manner to ensure a service and occupancy is not compromised.
Set tables according to event or service type, ensuring that Park Regis standards are met.
To clear tables within the allocated time given causing minimal disruptions to present guests using the restaurant facilities.
To serve food courses and beverages to guests following the Park Regis etiquette standards.
To regularly communicate with the Kitchen team in regards to product availability, the length of wait, recook orders and menu questions.
To inform the Kitchen team of any guest dietary requirements and allergies or any other special menu requests.
To be knowledgeable of chef specials and a brief understanding of all dishes on the menu in order to provide recommendations and ingredients advice.
Strict adherence to hygienic food and beverage handling procedures.
