Job Overview

Due to the forthcoming retirement of a longstanding colleague, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Internal Sales person to join our vibrant team. As a leading electrical wholesaler in Birmingham, with both local and national clients, CWS are pro-actively looking to find the right candidate. The candidate will need to have previous electrical wholesale experience.

To enable your success, we service both local and national clients and are affiliated to the AWEBB (electrical) buying consortium.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind building strong relationships with our existing clients and identifying new business opportunities within the electrical wholesale sector. Your energetic approach on our trade counter and excellent communication skills within our modern office setting, will help us expand our market presence, increase sales, and deliver exceptional service. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales expertise within a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to growth and success.

Duties

Engage with current clients to better understand their needs and promote relevant products effectively within the Sales office and busy Trade Counter
Reach out proactively to potential new clients through calls, emails, and other communication channels to create new customers
Analize customer data to identify opportunities for upselling
Provide timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and proposals to convert leads and enquiries into confirmed sales
Support leadership by being flexible within the workplace

Experience

Proven experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales, demonstrating a track record of achieving targets
Demonstrated the ability to motivate oneself and collaborate effectively within a team
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of what CWS offer the market-place
Previous experience within an electrical wholesaler is a required
Ability to thrive and enjoy a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
