Sales Advisor- Part Time

Includes weekend working- up to 24hrs p/week total

Established in 1971, Hugh Rice is a family owned independent jewellers with an ever-growing store presence. Having flourished from a small basement store in Hull, our store portfolio now consists of our flagship Hugh Rice multi-brand store and 2 Luxe by Hugh Rice Stores.

As a Sales Advisor for our Hugh Rice, St Stephens, Hull Store you will be passionate about making a difference to each and every customer by providing a unique experience that is second to none.

By using an engaging, genuine, open and interested approach, you will find the perfect product to meet the customers’ needs and exceed their expectations.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be an enthusiastic and energetic team player who will play your part in striving to reach and exceed sales targets through demonstrating our company values. With an eye for detail you will play your part in ensuring the store maintains its impeccable appearance at all times.

Daily Tasks

· Greeting customers.

· Involvement in stock control and management.

· Responsible for processing cash and card payments.

· Stocking, replenishing and cleaning sales areas.

· Assisting customers with product selection, providing advice and guidance through product knowledge.

· Monitoring and updating sales display areas.

· Dealing efficiently and courteously with customer queries.

· Meeting/exceeding set sales targets for both yourself and the Store.

· Being vigilant in connection with security within the Store.

· Enthusiastic and creative with the presentation of products during the sales process, utilising our Sales Training programme.

· Any other duties commensurate with this role.

Skills

· Able to maintain a very high standard of customer service

. A strong team player as well as being able to meet targets as an individual.

. A passion for selling luxury fine jewellery.

. Able to build long-lasting relationships with customers.

· Be target-driven and have a clear understanding of working towards KPI’s

. Be motivated and have strong communication skills.

· Possess a friendly confident and engaging personality.

· Be well-spoken, well-presented and confident when selling.
