Job Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team at Cally Palace Hotel & Golf Course as a Bar Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you’ll support the bar operation by preparing drinks, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring all safety and hygiene standards are met. Your proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills will be key to delivering an exceptional bar experience that keeps patrons coming back for more.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and serving a variety of beverages efficiently and accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Support the bar team during busy periods by managing orders and serving customers promptly
Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment and handle any issues professionally
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Follow proper cash handling procedures and assist with basic math calculations for transactions

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
Ability to serve guests with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
