Service Reception Manager required for our new premises at Capital Centre Preston:

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Reception Manager with strong automotive knowledge to lead the front-of-house operations of a busy vehicle workshop.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience while maintaining an efficient service workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the service reception area and act as the first point of contact for customers
Book in vehicles for servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
Provide accurate estimates and explain technical information clearly to customers
Co-Ordinate with workshop supervisor to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.
Handle customer queries, updates, and complaints professionally.
Manage job cards, invoicing, and service records
Monitor daily schedules and ensure maximum workshop productivity

Requirements

Previous experience in a service manager role within the automotive industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy workload
Confident using workshop management and platform authorization systems
Ability to lead and support a small front-of-house team
Full UK driving licence
