Part of the Klipboard Finance Business Partnering team, this role will support the UK Rental, Automotive Catalogue & Data Solutions and Transport Management business units
Key Responsibilities:
The Finance Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to business units, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance. This role bridges finance and operations, ensuring financial strategies align with business objectives.

Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior managers to provide financial insights that guide decision-making.

Financial Analysis: Analyze revenues, costs, and profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Ongoing review and evaluation of all reported KPI’s to maintain relevance.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis and insights.

Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve performance.

Strategic Support: Develop financial models for long-term planning and assess viability of new initiatives.

Cost Management: Work with managers to control costs and identify savings opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Present financial reports and insights to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.

Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.

Project Support: Provide financial input for projects, including cost-benefit analysis and post-implementation reviews.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential

Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional accounting qualification preferred.

Experience: 7+ years in finance roles, with at least 3 years in business partnering.

Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
